Hey guys I was thinking about using Ulead Video Studio to add sound and transitions to my animation but I don't know,it is kind of cheap(about $80) does anyone have any information on the software or another good software as good as premiere but a lot cheaper?

I've used Ulead Video Studio. It's simple, straight forward and pretty stable. I don't remember how sophistocated its audio tracks are, but I do remember it doing two tracks -- synch sound and wild sound (to use OLD film terms). As for a cheap alternative to Premiere, Premiere LE came bundled on my laptop; I use it a lot. I know you can get it bundled with video cards and such. I'm not sure if you can just buy LE outright, though.... I hope this helps. Happy New Year!

Go check out "MovieDV ver. 4" ($50.00) by AIST. It will let you do a LOT more than Ulead Video Studio. It has 4 stereo audio tracks that you can mix with, and somthing like 6 video tracks. You can also upgrade it by purchasing (online) plugins for doing more advanced things. You can buy it at Fry's or Best Buy, or other places like that.Check out the Acrobat refrence manual that you can download from:

This program gives you a lot more control than most of the other budget editors do.
For the price, I don't believe that you can get a better video editor than this.
