Does anybody know where I can find Jedi robes and padawan hair with the little braid? A light saber would be nice also. I want to make some of the Star Wars guys, but I know I'll never have time to make the clothes and hair also. Thanks.

I think PhilC is just what you are looking for, he has great robes, all different kinds. Check him out. Sharen Type PhilC in Renderosity to get to his creations from here.

I think Vairesh's "Maiden Hair" would suit for Jedi hair. I bought it and it worked just fine on Mike with very little adjustment.

If you're using Michael, you might try Thip's robe and mantle, here in Free Stuff.
You can find a Qui-Gon character in the Sci-Fi stuff at 3D Poser. Perhaps you could adapt the outfit.
Jon has created a picture-perfect Episode 1 Obi-Wan (click here); you might ask him for tips about the Padawan hair.
For all your lightsaber needs, stop by PropsGuild. You'll find four different lightsabers on pages 4, 7, and 8 of the Sci-Fi Download section.

Wow! Now my WiP Obi-wan looks like crap. But still wow... Anyway, thanks for the info. Which lightsaber is the best? And is anybody working on an Ep II Anakin yet?
Little_Dragon posted Wed, 02 January 2002 at 5:25 AM
I haven't heard of an Episode 2 Anakin yet, but John Malis (a.k.a. Jon) has the Episode 1 kid at his website, Posergamers, in the Sci-Fi section.
Oh, and Darth_Wookie is working on an Episode 2 Obi-Wan (take a look).
I prefer the Lytha Dooms Lightsaber, myself ("Looks like lightsaber cr2" by ChrisGFX, page 8), for its incredible detail, the fact that it's a Poser-ready figure, and the morphing lightblade. It doesn't come with textures, however.

The modelling alliance used to have a lot of good models, but their mirror went offline so I dont know where to get their models anymore.

Wolf359 (nice nick, BTW)- That is so cool! What did you use to make that? I haven't done any animations yet. The lens flare is great.

steelo:
To the best of my knowledge, the Star Wars 3D Modeling Alliance is still down.
You might find these two sites of use:
Sci-Fi 3D : lots of characters, vehicles, and settings (MAX, 3DS, and LightWave format)
Andrew's Star Wars site : Bryce stuff
