Warning- total Bryce newbie and idiot posting ;) I have read the manual a few times, but am still not grasping the lighting concept(ok so i don't wrap any of the concepts ;P). What i am trying to do here is set up a night scene. Things i cant seem to fix : -i cant make waves lapping on the rocks, nor can i make movement waves in the water -i cant get any stars to show up - the only way i can get a moon to show up is a huge one like in the image -how can i darken the atmosphere while still being able to have subtle lighting on my chars so they are not just black silohuettes? Thx!

Keep practicing, though. So far I like what you've posted here. It takes trial and error. Plus, there are some good tutorials here you can play with and www.brycetech.com is a fantastic site to try as well.
