The P4 Skirt is perhaps the most useful of the clothing props for animators because of it's simple mesh and small file size. With these morph targets you now have much greater control over the skirt's length.. particularly when requiring a longer style.wgreenlee1 posted Fri, 04 January 2002 at 4:18 PM
wow thx but do you think it might have adverse affects on the texturing,we might have to remap in uv mapper maybe?
Jaager posted Fri, 04 January 2002 at 4:25 PM
The problem is that actual area of the facets is much larger than the area for it on the texture, relative to the rest of it. What you can do is save the morph for the long length as a geometry, UV map this and use the default length as a morph for the long one. Squeezing facets seems less hurtful to a render than stretching them.

Jaager's spot on with his advice. ps.. the texture on the image is the default ground texture! Best wishes, Gerald.

Hey, that ground texture makes a pretty good material! Thanks for the freebie, geralday; and thanks also to Jaager, for the tip. jon

more good stuff, geralday. The ground texture is a good deal. I loaded it as a bump map a long time ago, and use it as a generic bump.
