I have lost my rope and don't know where to find it. I'm looking for a rope for Poser. Modeling it is easy enough but I have trouble with assigning bones to it since I suck at working out the bend zones. Does anyone have a rope prop or know where one is? I saw one once, by PhilC I think but didn't see it on his site. The chain may work if it's bones are visible in the set up room... I even thought of using the snakes bones and adding several modified snakes together but I need something smooth to use in animations. I need to make a fishing rod line that can bend with IK, god I think that might overload my little computer. And some dog sled ropes to go between the dogs and bounces a bit during the animation. Any ideas? Thanks. RS

Never Give Up!

Aside from the EasyPose Tube here in Free Stuff, there isn't a lot to play with.

Some of the adult sites have poseable rope props, but they're very short segments and have limited function (I think).

The only other item I can think of is VK's Starter Kit, in the Poser Free Stuff at 3D Commune. It has a cable which the author claims can be posed as a rope, wire, tubing, etc.

I'd recommend just painting the fishing line/rope, but if you're doing animation it wouldn't be practical.
