Just thought I'd show that you guys on the wrong side of the equator aren't the only ones who have flowers this time of the year. Due to our unusually warm winter before Christmas, these kept blooming right up to our first hard freeze on Christmas week. This was taken mid December. I know what they're called, but at the moment I just can't remember. Maybe Mrs. Clown knows, if you have them down there!

Back home from work now, and having conferred with Jane, we think that they could either be Chrysanthemums OR (Mrs. PC thinks) they could be Daliah's...Mrs. PC is more of the expert so I would bow to her superior horticultural wisdom and say Daliahs.(As I say to Mrs. PC "I'm always right...except when I'm wrong!")
