As some of you may be aware, I posted a while ago about running into this evil little message when trying to import from Poser to Bryce with the OBJ format. Tonight, I finally was given a solution. I got on the Corel/Bryce newsgroup and posted the question to one of the Bryce Beta Testers. He passed it along to the beta test news group and lo and behold, I got an email from someone. I uninstalled Pro Pack, reinstalled Poser, ran the 4.0.3 update to Poser and my files are now importing into Bryce with just minor texture mapping issues. So, I'm going to be working without Pro Pack for a while. If anyone else is experiencing this, you can try uninstalling Pro Pack if you have it and see if this works for you. Roseann

I never read your original post so if this information is already known, please disregard. I found that if you use some characters that are not alphanumeric (for example, the dash - character) in the filename of textures you use in a bryce render, you may get the I/O, Bad Media error when attempting to save the file. I wasted a good 20 hours worth of work before I figured that little diddy out.

I actually couldn't get the models into Bryce. This happened on import.
