I like'm! Was that taken on black&white? Post some stats on the shot (format, lens focal length, aperature..). We're all pretty bad at that around here, but we should try to record and post stats. Hey, stick around here, man - this is a great forum. Joe

Thank you. This, like all my pictures was taken with an Olympus C-2040 digital camera. I took this a while ago and do not remember the stats, but in the future I will post them.

Great pic....very...erm...European!! Naw, seriously, I like this lots. As regarding stats and digital I got a great little file viewer with my Fuji called Exif viewer, it's got a little 'i' icon which allows me to find out all the info from the camera when it took the pic - even on auto mode it records the f-stops etc. Am I under the wrong impression thinking that all digi's with manual functions do this too? Very nice tonalities and sharpness here. [I may be underestimating the digital stuff...]

Hi Jordy....I would think that most digital cameras come with some sort of software that will allow you to view image info...at least mine does...records everything. Back to the image.......it's great! Is that a tatoo on that guys neck? Yikes!
I am, therefore I create.......

I've got an Olympus D-150 digital and the Camedia software that came with it will give you image info, you have to go into Edit/Options/Details and check off the ones you want it want it show. Great pic, I love the way the street seems to go on forever! And if that's a tattoo, it's a strange one, maybe it's a birthmark.... :-)

I like this as a character shot of the tatoo man...

I have to say that I am VERY flattered by all of your comments. Thank you very much. You have inspired me to put some of my pictures on line. So here it is. http://photos.yahoo.com/jalexwoolsey

Ewww he's deseased. Seriously I'm sure it is a tatoo. What's with the garbage! That's the weird thing. The street is soo clean but there's this pile of rubbish just laying there! Nice tone. Did you convert this to B/W or did you photograph it that way? Bsteph
Aldoron posted Thu, 10 January 2002 at 10:13 PM
I photographed it this way.

A good New Orleans impression. Good lines. The Guest House sign makes it.

Another nice shot. The only thing I would have changed is maybe show all of the tattooed dood. If he was not cut off there I think the image may feel a bit more whole.

Again, neat b&w pic. Guy is in perfect position looking at that way. I agree nplus, that fella should fit to pic, this gives bit desultory mood. But, pic is reeeelly nice. .n

This would've been a good entry for the Street thing. I speak no digital LOL... I'm all manual. Hey, I like the tattoo... (looking at my neck and I'm wondering what kind I'm getting next LOL)

starshuffler posted Mon, 14 January 2002 at 10:09 AM
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I need to take a pic of it first. The one my friend took was no good. I'm thinking of getting elven script on my index finger... one ring to rule them all... LOL

...hmmm, hands. Certificated tattooists dont usually do names, hands, necks or faces. Think 24357 times before gitting it, you cant hide it. Its the same thing with tattoos with names, it can be the most beautiful thing, but.. after time passes by, there's always that "but". .n ps. ...still waiting for that pic. :oP
