Heya, Just wanted to let everyone who might be interested know that my web site: edgeofnever.com Is officially out of the beta test period and up and running now, with all items I offer for download in the Download section, along with a Gallery with all my past and current Art Work. Oh, and even a page with a few links on it, so check it out. (My thanks to those brave souls who helped test the site prior to this announcement - LOL!) Also, since I am new to web design, please let me know what you think of the look and feel of the site. If you have suggestions for improvement, I am all ears. :o) Cheers, Robnikitacreed posted Fri, 11 January 2002 at 12:35 PM

Your site links: yellow on gold - difficult to read Your external links: dark blue on black - cannot read. Presbyopia has been the most profound result of aging with me and I probably need stronger lens, but I can see most things. I think the writing (font/color) : background color options are limited to relatively few .

Heya, don't anyone apologize. I want feedback, even if it seems negative. So long as it is given in the spirt of trying to help, it is greatly appreciated. I will look in to making the changes being suggested for certain. It may not happen immediately, but it will happen. I just have to schedule time to get it done.

Clicking on the choices at the left has no effect on Netscape 4/Mac
shadownet posted Fri, 11 January 2002 at 1:51 PM
Mikes, Hmmm. I just tested it again in Netscape 4.7 but on a PC. I nothing nothing about a Mac, but the menu uses Java script - is there possibly something in the way the OS handles that script that causes a problem? I can disable java in my browser, and the change over effect will not work, but clicking on the links still does. If you have any thoughts as to what gives, let me know. Ron, thanks. Now a question for you. The pop up window you mentioned launches to full screen (I believe only in IE though, and not Netscape), and thus hides everything else. I did this to give my gallery lots of room. I can set up the pages for 800x600, but what do you suggest on the pop up windows? Would you rather I just launch to a new page, or would a smaller pop-up window work, so that you can still see the original home page in the background. Just curious as to your thoughts.

Very nice, just got back from the tour. Loads pretty quick too. All buttons and rollovers worked for me. Good job. Sharen

I guess I fall in the "most folks" category as I perfered album 2 (no duh, eh! since that's more or less what I was shooting for on my site.) The rest of your site looks really great. I still have lots of changes and things I plan to do to my site, such as break up the Gallery by type of picture, Fantasy, Photo real, etc. But haven't gotten that far along yet. I am just glad to have a site up and running - working semi-well atleast for the moment. Thanks again for the feedback.

Great stuff, love the beards.....but I gotta say it->I hate those FULL SCREEN DOMINATIONS!!! But for the fantastic beards it was most certainly worth it! Thanks! ;-P

LOL! Not to worry, the days of the FULL SCREEN DOMINATION are numbered.

Nice site. I had no problems with it (but then I use a higher resolution than most folks). Thank you for the beards... and I do like your Gandalf. Carolly
