Hi all you UV mapsters- Can someone explain to me how you remap an OBJ to match another OBJ? In other words, I have a figure that uses the P4 mans head, but the overall OBJ file has different UV coordinates for the head then the P4 nude male. So the vertices and faces (i.e., the geometries) of the heads are exactly the same, but the UV coordinates are off. UV Mapper doesnt allow a background image for you to match up the body parts from another UV Map (like the poser male head for example) so how do all of you manage to match them up so that your remapped objects can take the P4 Nude Males texture for the head? I realize that Trial and Error is a possible method here, but I am hoping for something a bit easier. Am I wrong and there is a way to bring in a background image in UV Mapper? Am I just one of those people you all shake your heads at and say: Dude, you are just being lazy. It requires hard work, and thats all. Or is there a way that I just dont know about. Thanks. Aharon
