This is a picture of my Dad and the remains of some animal. It is a very typical image of him

He is typically 'with animal remains'?

Roadkill Cookbook? That thing actually exists? lol However, have to tell you Hedgehog is quite nice, cooked in the traditional Gypsy way of wrapping it in clay and baking it on the fire.....tried it once, love to again. (",)

LOL, you guys! Wonder if Jordy's recipe works on possum? :-)

I saw that Roadkill Cookbook in a second hand bookshop. I'm sure gald I didn't buy it LOL

I once read a recipe for possum -- anything that you're suppose to 'rinse with vinegar.. then ..soak over night in salt water, and then discard the water..' is a little exotic for me.

Sorry to disapoint you, my Dad can barely boil water! Alpha, I share his daring somewhat but I don't like picking up animal remains unless I absolutely have to.

LOL You guys are sick! You cook roadkills? Fresh, I like it fresh! Nice pic, could be bit bigget. .n

JordyArt posted Tue, 15 January 2002 at 7:11 AM

We have a law here regarding certain roadkill; If you hit a pheasant in your car, it's against the law for you to take it.... however, it's perfectly legal for the guy behind to do so........ (",) BTW, Niko, If you've just hit something, then it IS fresh....ok, a little messier, but fresh....mmmmmm
