is it possible to create your own styles of hair from a 2d prog like adobe or do i need to make it in 3d say for instance i want to make a hair that is mixed punk and rastfairian (hope i spelt that right) from scratch..could i just use adobe or is there 3d modelling involved??

well i guess the title says it all..like just a program for creating hair for any poser character??

Some people do draw their hair in Adobe. It's not an easy process to get good results, but we do have a few masters here for hair. Dalinese and Stormi come to mind. Most people prefer using 3d models for hair so they can use it over and over again. Kozaburo is the undesputed master of hair and has several free models, but hmann and Vairesh (among others) are also excellent at hair and have several models available for purchase.

There is no real reason not to download the hair from Digital Babes. It's very good, very free, and I see lots of people using it. It won't cover all of your hair needs, but it will cover a lot. For free.

i suppose..but then to me it seems that i didnt put an effort in it..i just borrowed somebody elses work..you know what i mean...i would like to make everything on my char from scratch if i can...but they are good hair though

Have a look in their tutorialsektion.They show how the hair is done.Thats why i gave you the link :-)
