Just a quick hello, and hoping you all had safe and wonderful holidays! I'm still very busy here between working full time and taking care of mom. She's been out of the hospital now for over a month, but unfortunately she is now completely bed ridden and can no longer do anything for herself. Dad and I are the only care givers so that means we spend literally 24 hours a day caring for her. Just thankful and grateful she is still with us though, and that's what counts :) Because of this you'll see me around on and off because my time now has become very limited, but know that I get in here as often as I can if it's only to lurk and look at all the beautiful images y'all create... A good friend emailed a great textures link to me today and I want to share it with y'all. Best of all, the textures appear to all be seamless...hope you enjoy them! Welcome back Marvilla :) Glad to see your mother is out of hospital. Recouperation is the hardest and longest, but it is my dearest hope that she will recover fully. Thank you for the link :) It's really nice to see you back :D

I think K-mart is having a blue light special on the Family Size box of TIME. Better stock up. grin Seriously, do make sure that both you and Dad have personal time away from the duties, even if you have to drag in a family friend or relative a couple times a week. Got to take care of yourself, too. :)

Glad to have you back, and I am sorry to hear about your mom, you have a kind heart to care for her like you and your dad do. Your mom will surely hold you close to her heart for your love. Great to see you again and thanks for the textures link, they are wonderful. Sharen

I empathize with the angst of your situation. When my mother was dying and needing constant care, I moved my computer in where she could watch the monitor as I created, and it helped us both. Endure is the only advice I can offer.

Hiya Marvilla, Thanks so much for the texture link. Can't ever have enough great textures. :) It's good to "see" you here again. Again, I'm sorry to hear about your Mom, and again, I wish you all the best in this troubling situation. Cheers, Mike

Thanks bunches to Sharen, Yves, Mike and Elaine...it's the kind words and good wishes of people like you that make situations a bit easier and difficult times more bearable. And a special hug to roadtoad, for I'm sure no words I can offer you could ever help ease the loss of your mom. That was a lovely thing you did for her, and one that I will also try. And yes, I will endure...thank you! Marvilla
