Select the helmet and go to Object/change parent. In the popup window select the figure's head (ensure that you do not mistakenly select the clothing). Click the "OK" and the helmet should now stay with the figure.

nope still doesn't work...could you try it out? make a simple male figure in poser4, insert the obj helmet you can find it on free stuff..just type helmet..it's the green soldier helmet..

PhilC's method works for me. Maybe this will work, instead. Select the helmet. Go to the Object menu and select Properties. Click the Set Parent button and choose the figure's head from the popup window. Click OK. Now try moving the head.

You can also change parenting in the Hierarchy Editor, try it there.

Found it; it was posted by jerr3d. It isn't the model itself. I can parent it to the head, and it moves along fine.
