Varian posted Tue, 22 January 2002 at 12:39 PM

Hm, well I'm having the same problem. I've removed the link from this thread. If the site is just having some temporary trouble, I'll add it back when the trouble clears up. Thanks, Myske! :)

There are many high quality textures here. The title page says the textures are for Bryce, but actually the textures are hi-res tile-able .jpgs.

Bleak300 posted Fri, 16 June 2006 at 10:25 AM

how do you put .jpg image maps into Vue, as materials? When I tried, Vue only took .mat files and nothing else.

Cheers posted Fri, 16 June 2006 at 10:53 AM

Can I just remind people that apart from these sites, the best way to get textures tailored exactly for your needs is to walk around with a camera.
Most people have a digi cameras now and even cheaper low mega pixel versions have more than enough resolution for most textures.
Besides, it cuts out all the restrictions of copyright and leaves you use them totally freely. If you make it a habit to walk everywhere with a a camera (even a camera phone), you will soon build up a huge texture library.

Cheers
