Im searching for a guitar prop...I
m looking for a Gibson Explorer guitar prop or something that looks exactly like the body shape of the guitar. I think James Hetfield from Metallica uses that type of guitar. (I could be wrong about that though) Thanks in advance

There are three in Freestuff, but I doubt youll find them with a search for "guitar"; theyre listed as ST-90 (or something to that effect).

Tons of guitars out here. st-50, st-60, st-70, in freestuff. Kalat's page has one. Kalats page also has a great Marshall Solo amp. Do a search in freestuff here for Kalat because they were posted here at one time. Someone here may be able to help you with the link to Kalats page. Propsguild has one. Propsguild also has a 3ds model of a Marshall stack. It doesn't come into poser exactly right, so it needs a little fixing in another 3d program, but the model is fantastic. There's one over at chemical studios. There's one at Amazing3d. There are a couple of brokered guitars at daz that look fantastic. Daz also had one that was free that is now part of the music pack. There are tons of great models out there. This ought to give you a start.

Here's a good deal for you. Check out Schlabber's Posing is an Art 3 web site. I've given you a direct link to his props page. He has a guitar there. And that's not all! He also has Guitar Poses! Wow.Schlabber posted Mon, 21 January 2002 at 11:18 AM

hmm - seems you're online ron - well ... if you have the correct zip (don'T know why it is corrupt by now) - can you mail it over to me (piaa3@yourwap.com) - then I can repair it directly :-) But please test the zip before ... thank you ...

I could do that within the next day or so. Right now I found something a bit strange with my Pose CD. I am copying the files to the hard drive so I can try to mess with the CD or make another one. I have your wonderful poses on more than one CD. That is what will take me a bit of time.... Not a lot, just a bit. Schlabber, if you wish, you can IM me your email address. When I'm ready, I'll get the stuff to you. Or if it would help, I can set up an FTP account for you on my site. I just can't do such things on a "widespread" basis, because my web host provider is concerned about losing money on heavy bandwidth. He's pretty cool about giving me such a deal on the 300MB site as it is. Ron

oh - no problem anyway - I'm at home now ... So I'll just pack the guitar and update the file tomorrow at work (better connection there :o) Thank you anyway ... and btw: What is strange with your Pose CD ??

I'd made the Pose CD on a CD-R, which obviously is write once, and forget it. I inserted the Pose CD today, and it brought up Roxio's Direct CD! That usually only happens if you used Direct CD for a rewritable cd. I could find no way to alter the CD to make it a "regular CD-R format." So I copied the stuff to my hard drive. This CD was totally unzipped.. I wanted to go back and zip all the folders/files. I was doing that once, when my hard drive apparently died. So I lost my new Pose CD. I lost lots of stuff from your current site. Darn. Now I dusted off my Backup Program, NTI BackupNow, and was please to discover it will work on Windows XP. I am gleefully backing up my Art folders first. Then I will backup other stuff. It's easier than zipping each folder, then copying to CD.

Well - you know in about 2 month a Ready-to-use CD of my whole website+ will be available ?? It will contain: The whole website stuff (ready-to-use - no unzipping) All poses from other various places (3DCommune, 3DArena, 3DCC, Posercity) and additional 500 new exclusive poses (250 normal, 250 DAZ) all for under 25 $ (shipment included) It still costs some money of course but compared with the work it might be a solution. However - the guitar at my site is repaired ... Happy posing Schlabber
