Subject: DAZ "Mystery Model"
Here's my guess... Mike 2 is currently 30% off, which would seem to indicate that at sometime in the future it will be 30% more. I would assume that means that the introductory period would be over when it reverts to full price. Say it reverts to full price on February 15. If you bought Mike on 1 January, still within the intro period, but before January 16, you get the mystery model, and an e-mail with the voucher number. If you bought Mike on 18 January, still within the intro period, but after January 16, you get the mystery model but your e-mail confirmation of the purchase already has a voucher number. Now presumably, if you purchase after February 15, you pay the full price (not 30% off) and no free mystery model. So anyone who buys Mike after the intro period pays full price and doesn't gets the eagerly awaited, and proportionately mysterious model of mystery.
Well, the blip at DAZ about the Mystery Model refers to it as a "character." So, I can only assume it's a character for Mike 2. I'm dying to know, too. Dragonlady, you're not alone. A lot of people haven't received their voucher yet. I got mine yesterday, but I know a lot of folks over at 3D Commune have voiced their concern about not receiving theirs yet. You might contact DAZ to make sure you get it. They're a great bunch of folks to work with when you have problems with purchases. You can also check your purchase history on the DAZ site. You might want to check to see if your purchase is listed on it. If you still have your receipt, send a copy to Reachel White in Sales. She was a dear when I had a problem a while back. Good luck. Yeah but if you recall, Mike was so drunk that he really didn't remember anything, and Dina threatened to tell Vicki about the "event" so as to extort some cash from him. BUT, nothing ever happened that night. Michael passed out on the couch and she simply undressed him and dragged him into the bedroom, where he awaoke the next morning on the floor. Dina lied, but Michael believed her anyway and it wasn't until after she got to Rio (with the kid and the 380,000 in cash she extorted from Michael) that she phoned him to tell him. There never was any reason for him to know the baby was actually Dork's, but she wanted sooo bad to rub it in his face, how utterly stupid and gullible he had been, she couldn't hold back. She told him. But, Dina eventually got hers: In Jamaica she ran into a voodoo witch who cast a spell of permanent ugliness on her and...oh wait, never mind. ;) Or maybe I'm just confused. Coulda sen that on Dallas,
Now I'm confused ... I thought Dina was blackmailing Michael by threatening to send Vicky a copy of the videotape which showed them doing the horizontal nasty. But the tapes were switched and the incriminating one ended up on the shelf at Blockbuster .... (3:26PM CST, and still no sign of my voucher. Those of you who got one, what's the expiration date?)
Well, yeah, but it was actually Dork in the video, which had obviously been touched up. But thinking about it, there was something else going on as well which I can't remember, and it alwas was a question of whether they actually did the nasty or not. And Blockbuster got sued for half a mil when that video threw some 97 year old lady into cardiac arrest. Imagine--what are the odds it would end up in a Jerry Falwell video tape box! (I just got mine yesterday. it doesn't appear to have a exp. date on it, but anyway, the model hasn't been made available yet.)

I still haven't got mine either. If I don't get it by tomorrow i will e-mail them. Actually, I heard Boris framed Mike and Dork in order to avoid having to pay child support. Dina was very drunk at a party all the men attended and really couldn't remember who she was with. Boris, the true father, pretended to be her friend when she found out she was pregnant and told her he would take care of it. Mike and Dork were both drunk as well that night and have long lusted for Dina. They didn't recall sleeping with their own ladies that night and felt macho pride at having nailed Dina so they are paying up. Now Boris keeps one payment each month and gives the other to Dina while he puts the moves on Vanessa. Thats how I heard it...
Well you know how we all know thats a lie? The "long lusted for Dina" part ;) The only way Mike and Dork could lust long, or short, for Dina, would be to be blind, drunk, or both ;) As to them being drunk that night, drunkeness is a major cause of impotency ;) That only leaves Boris the evil mastermind behind it all capable, neh? ;)
okay, but then... what are the TRUE origins of the evil demon baby??? hey hey hey, i got it, i know what the mystery model will be! (maybe.) it's a mystery model, right? so, like, it is a complete sherlock holmes getup for michael! you think? yeah, well, okay....::goes back to speculating about thighmasters and mother in laws::
No Aprils Fool Joke by DAZ!! Although we are not announcing a released date, there is a real Mystery Model that is being created right now by artists at DAZ. But, as usual our production team is getting carried away with development adding features. J But you know what this means, a better product for you! Orders placed prior to January 21 for the Michael 2.0 Upgrade, vouchers are going out by hand. DAZ artists have put much attention and detail into the making of this Mystery Model. *** Logically, since you have to have bought Michael 2, it stands to reason it's a character for Michael 2. Not sure how you would make a baby out of that, but I suppose anything's possible. I guess we'll find out when they're ready to tell us. Come on DAZ, we're all excited and anxious to get it! :) Melanie
heyas; it doesnt say you HAVE to have bought michael 2. it just says they're giving you a free new model cuz you did. and people who dont buy mike 2 can still buy the model, cuz it will be on sale like any regular model. SO, don't be too surprised if it isn't mike-related. of course, it very well may be. i dont think it is a michael character, i think it is a new figure. or it might be a spin off character like them mil girls things. hmmm... since they said 'character' does that rule out conforming clothing packs? if they said 'character' intead of 'figure' does that mean it is a mike 2 character? hmmm... if it IS a character, might it have some conforming clothes on it?? if a train is leaving chicago at 11 am in the morning....?
Being Mike-related wouldn't stop its being for sale - people who don't buy Mike2 in the offer period won't get it free, and it may well at least partially work with M1.
There DAZ, I've done some of your FAQ-answering for you, could you use the time saved to send me a teeny mystery model hint? I won't share, [cross fingers] promise.[uncross fingers]
:))) No help again from DAZ Yeah, I checked the thread again this morning just to see what people were saying. Sorry, no more hints, but from the look of the thread, I think everyone's going to be quite happily surprised, (because no one's even close)
