Hi I can't seem to get the eyes to show right in bryce5. I tried to do as it said on Poser Arcana, (that is making the eyeball transparent) but the eyes are all white. I am using poser 4.03 and bryce 5.01. Can this have something to do with highlight, ambient or object coloring I had in poser before exporting? If somebody could tell me what is going on then I would be gratefull. By the way it is apeve figure I'm trying to import.

When you take a Poser figure into Bryce. Find the mesh call ed right eye / left eye 1.1 and delete it. When its gone the eye shows up...at least that works for me.

The proplem is due to the double eyes that Vickie and Mike (and maybe other figures have), the outer comes into Bryce as solid white, instead of transparent. The easiest way to fix this is just delete it in Bryce, if you hold down the shift (or maybe it is CTRL?) key you can pick individual materials, delete the outer eyeball. Save before you do that, as you mite detete the wrong one. It always comes in at the same number, though, so write that down for the next time! No, I don't know why DAZ actually did that, either. I think it is supposed to hold a high-lite, but why not just a highlite on the regular eyeball?

I always take the outer mesh of the eye and instead of deleting it, I turn it's material into a "glass"... that way I get a little extra twinkle. Doug

I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

Oh never thought about that Doug, but it really sounds like a great idea. Have to try that !
