Does anyone know how to set the Poser defaults so that the skip frames feature is always off unless selected? Or, if that can't be done, is there a way to disable it permanently? I hate it! Thanks, Ericroy

... Try setting a Poser file (while it is loaded) to the "skip frames" in the condition you want. Now, under "Edit" ---->"General Preferences" ... click "Launch to Preferred State" click "Set Preferred State" click "OK" Now, go to ... "File" ----> "New" and when Poser reloads, see if the "skip frames" is in the condition that you left it. Just a guess - see if it works. cheers, dr geep ;=]

I've tried that before, but I just tried it again to be sure... that doesn't do it. In my opinion, that should do it, but it doesn't. Thanks, Ericroy

... it is probably an "internal" default setting in Poser and you'll just have to live with it. Sorry! cheers, [anyway] dr geep ;=]

Well, I emailed Poser Technical Support (DUH! I know... I should've done that first). The manager there says that it can't be done, but that he/she'd like to see that option, as well. So it goes. Ericroy

Poser5 sounds good to me. If we start a wish list, do you suppose they'd listen to us. I like Poser, but I could go on and on about 'improvements'. A few big things, but mostly a lot of little ones. I shouldn't get started, well, here's a little one: how about a 'recent file' shortcut list like every other computer application? Oh well, that's just a little annoyance. Ericroy
