Subject: Is anyone using my Spiral Permed Hair?

It's been a few days, lots of downloads, just wondering if anyone has used the hair I posted a few days ago. Haven't seen it used in the galleries, so I am wondering if anyone has tried it and if so, if there are any issues that are keeping you from using it. I plan to plug away at this hair until it is 100% the way I want it, and the way YOU want it, so please drop a line. Thank you! -Darth_LOgice

I've been playing with it and plan to use it soon. It's great hair, but since I've been sick I'm kind of slow on getting anything done. Kate

Darth, I love it. I've been wanting to do a picture with an Ancient Greek woman character but none of the hair except the dreds was right. Yours was right on target. Only problem I'm having is with her clothes now, so you'll be seeing something soon. Thank you. Oh, and if it's possible, something like an add-on prop with these coils would be really useful as it would instantly transform lots of hairstyles. Don't know if you understand what I mean.

Nope Jon, sure don't know what you're lookin' for there :) Do you mean like a headband or something? -Darth_Logice

I've been trying different lightings on it to see which light brings out the best effect. The only problem I can see is sometimes overhead lighting makes the hair transparent in areas on top of the scalp, but this is not critical. It's a very dense mesh and requires a lot of rendering time, but well worth it. I tune the color a bit to more of an auburn, 'cause the default tint is a bit "ketchup" for me. Still deciding which outfit/character works best with this style. A white Grecian robe with gold jewelry would look nice, as well as some type of medieval princess in green or dark blue velvet. Jim Burton's new black and purple cheongsam dress might be an instant hit with this hair. So like Jon says, it's a matter of finding the right outfit. New outfits could be created just to go with this hair. -Talos the Long-Winded

I've tried to use it but maybe I don't have enough memory because Poser crashes every time I try to render it. :-(

Perhaps what Jon is looking for is a 'fall', sort of like a detached ponytail. Somthing you would tuck into other hairstyles to fill them out. I'm having rendering problems too, but that's unremarkable until I re-unzip or download again into a fresh install of Poser.

I fairly sure I want to use it on a character who will make her first apperance on P5 of the story I am working on. Unfortunately the big push here is to get pps 1-4 assembled and completed this weakend. So I have not had time to do much more than play with it a little on a basic figure. I do love it tho jje
