Having discovered that not only is the concept of a flaming demon with a flaming sword and whip public domain, but so is the actual name "Balrog", I will be releasing my Balrog figure onto the Marketplace soon! It will include the flaming sword and glowing whip shown above, as well as a special prop set piece that is a round room (missing one portion of the walls) with a pit in the center, surrounded by a Magic Circle. It will also have numerous poses (not sure how many just yet), and may or may not have a "furry" texture, where the flames on the arms and back are fur, instead, and the body is fuzzy and furry... There are morphs to control the sway and flow of the flames, and the mouth opens and closes with morphs. So here's looking at many good sacrifices to the Demon of Fire and Rage, the Balrog!

Oh wow! Before it looked kinda plain, but now with the texture! I don't want him as my roomy no more! lol The texture seems look a bit stretched, but that's okay. I know how seams can be and I use plain colors. lol

Excellent! The balrogs do have at least one other name (but everything in Tolkien's universe has a handful of names). Carolly

Ick... I just saw what the balrog looks like wth a quick "furry" texture... Well, "Fuzzy Wuzzy Balwog" isn't going to be in the product... ick...

Gee, I can already see the cutesy-wutesy images of the fuzzy balwog playing with the hatchling dwagon... two aspiring arsonists looking for stuff to crisp. ;p A respectful suggestion: unless you want us all to die of sugar poisoning (and even Melkor wasn't THAT evil) don't release fuzzy balwogs on an unsuspecting world.
