If someone sells a "model" - but it's based on Victoria or Michael or whatever - they are in essence cheating Daz3D out of money because that is THEIR (Daz3d) model, but only modified, so shouldn't the model be offered in the form of a morph target, not a downloadable model?

Please elaborate. DAZ itself allows for the redistribution of the s.cr2 files, which don't include the geometry. But if you're talking about a .cr2 which includes the V2 morphs, then, yes, you would be right. far as I know, they can only be "redistributed" via pose files, which would require that the recipient already have the figure containing the morph targets.
