Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh--(taking a deep breath). I'm sure you have done a new photographic realistic texture and in conjunction with your wonderful hair, she is so realistic, she takes one's breath away. Just absolutely beautiful. Diane B

Good Lord, Kozaburo! So unbelievably realistic that she's scary! Truly amazing! Are you going to call her "Idoru"?

......Dumbfounded.... Is the face actually 3D? Or is it a variation of the Hafeli/Cosmo 2D technique?

Oh my!!...........I'm terribly sorry!! :) This is just a joke. :) The image was rendered in Poser4 and No post work....Yes, It's true, However i've used Paul Hafeli's "Square hair technique" on her face. :) :) :) ---kozaburo

Very clever, even if it was meant to trick us ;) How did you manage to align it so perfectly? We want details!!!! And thank you for the beautiful hair.

Yes! Details please. If the face square is behind the hair, did you make the head object invisible? Is the edge of the transparency map at the chin or the one on the neck? Too well done to tell.
kozaburo posted Sun, 02 January 2000 at 8:44 PM
He,he,he....Details? :) Syo-ga ne- na- :) :) Yes, I made the head section and eyeballs invisible. Edge of the TransMap is at the chin and I blurred the edge line on the TransMap very little. And...the most important work is synchronize the face color with the skin color . I've adjusted the ambient color of the Square props and also the color of the Face Photo TEX itself. Of course Light setting must be done very carefully. I'm using 2 light. One Infinite light for whole image and another Spotlight only for control the brightness of the face section. Umm.....this is a stupid trick... but.........it's FUN. :) :) :) ---kozaburo
