Well, I broke my New Year's Resolution to get this up on New Year's Day, but one of my cats decided to help me build the castle ... The castle is my best work to date (which may or may not be saying much ...) and I just wanted to hype a few of its features: 1) The towers have entrances and stairs that wind all the way to the top guard posts. 2) The main gate also has stairs that lead up to the parapet. 3) The castle is meant to be decorated: portcullises are easy to replace with more ornate versions, etc. 4) The dimensions are set so 1 Bryce unit = 1 foot. With a bit of effort, you can stage battles in and around the castle and be sure that things are scaled properly. I'll be working on buildings to go inside the castle over the next few months. I'll also be purchasing a 3D modelling program so I can make this an .obj file for non-Bryceans. I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who uses the castle so I know what to improve when I make my next castle.
