I have added motions to a human figure in Poser 4. Since I want to import these figure into 3DS (with Character Studio), I exported the motions into a BVH file. However 3DS failed to read data from the file can anyone tell me why? N.B. Actually I have checked the exported BVH file, there were at least two problems: 1. mismatch node names (Not a serious problem) 2. Poser 4 creates some additional nodes such as Abdomen and neckDummy, which do not exist in the standard Gypsy's standard BVH file. Does anyone know how to convert the Poser exported BVH file to one that can be read by 3DS? Is there any tools available? Cheers

I have a free app to fix Dance Studio BVH files for Poser you may find useful if you come across these. If you contact me at info@zenwareonline.com with full details and examples of your problem I can probably make something for you to fix it, this would be a freebie. cheers, Dan http://www.zenwareonline.com for CR2Edit, ZenPaint, ZenTile, VueMaster and the complete line of Zenware graphics apps -- BVH Fixer on Free Apps page
