That's a great subject for this! I submitted an idea and they said post it here so I am. My idea is for a gallery for Low-Res creations. I'm noticing a seemingly increasing amount of mention of low res characters especially since gaming graphics are supporting more realistic characters with each new day [Month?]. Maybe a place in the Free Stuff where you can search through video game characters much like the 3D-CC is for comics. I've seen a couple here and there and am one of the people that admires low-res above high-res. Eh.. Just an idea though..

This sounds interesting. Perhaps it would be a great place to post screenshots from games...

That would be a great idea, people can make there own meshes for different games like the quake series (similiar to polycount), unreal tournement, or maybe there own games. There's alot of modellers out there that would love to show off what they can do, just need a good artsite to do it, this would definitly be great if Renderosity picks it up.

Ive done alotta game modeling, probably why im better at making the low poly models then the high poly models, it is a good idea, that way people can post items to where there tallents are focused. Just about all the store items i have, as well as freebies are considerably low poly models and I put most of that tward the bit of doing game models. So ya, a low poly section would be nice =-) PhilC has made some low poly body bases, he made them for making avatars for the avatar lab, but im sure they would work good fro images as well. =-) Besides, low poly models you can build larger scenes, more items, and, with a few tricks you can make them look just as good as some of the higher poly models ;)

people could always sell they're characters in the marketplace, but that would suck seeing as almost every game character download is freeware
