While I was wrestling with this problem I came across : http://www.dpreview.com/ They have a wide range of extensive reviews there and a very large sample gallery. Most of the samples are in their original format and can be downloaded as such. I found these very useful for testing out on my printer before deciding which digital camera to buy. Thanks to all for the welcome messages. Mike

I'd like to get my hands on that coolpix 885, I am so used to our 880 that this seems natural, however, I have a manual that I am starting to work with for the sake of knowledge. Just have that itch for that camera, and its BAD.

I found that site really useful too recently. LOL! Sydd I know what you mean, I thought I was saving for photoshop & suddenly I have a coolpix 885 : ) I long for the day when it feels natural, I've only really used one camera before the same old slr for over 20 years so this is a leap into the unknown!
