Heh - Parrish was facinated by innocence if memory serves, and it showed in most of his best paintings. I also liked the fact that he broke away from the more somber stuff that you usually found in and around that time... he was probably among the first to do pure fantasy art that wasn't based in the typical Roman/Greek mythology (although he did a lot of that genre damned well, and was among the first western artists to cover Arabian/Muslim themes as well, with "Garden of Allah".) He also captured the spirit of the times he lived in, that's for sure... /P
