I'm working on this drum and I am pretty happy with the way the front looks; however, the texture seems to be wrapping and stretching and distorting over the sides. Is there anyway to remedy this? I also was trying to get a different look for the sides (where the skin wraps over and is stretched with leather thongs)but I couldn't figure out how to do it, so I scrapped the idea.

Any suggestions on the stretching and distorting?
