I bought a used Mac about a year ago from someone on e-bay, it had Raydream installed on it. Can I still get an upgrade? How do I find the serial #? I'm using Raydream 5.02.

Part of the serial number is displayed on the splash screen that comes up when RDS is launched. It also displays part of the serial # under Help then About Ray Dream. I dont know where on the system the full serial number is listed. On a PC I think its in the system registery. To be honest with you I dont think you qualify for the upgrade since you didnt purchase RDS. But you can check with MetaCreations and see. Clint

I kinda figured that. I may just go over to CompUSA and get 5.5. They are selling it for 199.00. I'll bite the bullet now and get the upgrade later. Thanks for the help.
