1. There was a site identified with someone in the National Forest Service, or USGS or some government agency that had tutorials on DEMS and making map topos, etc. It was quite extensive, does anyone have the url? 2. When I move the camera around in bryce, the object moves very stiffly in wide rotational arcs. In other programs, this happens when the camera is too close or the scale of the object too big. How does one correct this in Bryce? 3. I understand that with the 5.01 patch, we now have Easter egg ready made trees that are available by some selected keys, Is this the case and what are they. 4. and the bonus, new NASA shots http://eob.gsfc.nasa.gov/Newsroom/BlueMarble/ TIA manowar

I don't know about the tutorial or the easter egg (though I know there's a comment about it in the bryce forum here not too long ago...), but the problem with the camera sounds like like it might be fixed by clicking the little arrow next to the trackball and changing what is selected? I'm not quite clear on your problem, though.

Thanks for the help. The camera thing is hard to describe, but it used to occur in the now dead Infini'd, in the modeler window. As to the trees, I will do a search and maybe that will help. manowar

the 'easter egg' that you speak of is found by holding down the 'alt' key when clicking on the 'create tree' icon in the tool bar. This opens up a 'load' dialog with a list of prebuilt trees. :)

Thanks. I came across this in a search. They are pretty good. I hope Corel can improve on this further. manowar
