Hi guys!!! I've just been tinkering around trying to get my Poser figures (Michael 2+ hi res-textures) to go into MAX 4. First I export the figure form Poser4 in 3ds format-then import into MAX4 (no problem). Then using the MAT editor I apply the Michael textures-still looks okay. But, then I render the image and lo and behold if 1, the entire texture appears split along the seams and 2, you can see the outlines of the individual bodyparts in the texture! I can't fix this no matter what I try. I've seen other tutorials for Max 3 which call for you to export your figure from Poser as an Obj.File and then import to max3, but this involves downloading an Obj-to-max plugin, but this pluging won't work with MAX4!!! If there is anyway to get around this problem without having to buy yet another 'special' program (to do something that these already massivly expensive programs should do anyway) PLEASE let me know as I can't be the first to have this problem. :( Thanx M8's

Oops! I meant to post this in the 3ds max Forum. Still, any advice would be grand :)

Use OBJ format instead of 3DS.
