i finally figured out the animation side of poser. when they say 12 frames per second, they aren't kidding. anyway, what i want to do is change scenes in the middle, doing this in poser isn't possible, because the scene would changed through the whole thing.so what i need is a program i can take individual avi's from poser and edit them together, and add sound. someone know where i could find a good one?

Depending on the total size of your Poser movie, you can add frames inside an existing movie.

Just "add frames" by clicking on the "total frames" window and enter the new total that you want.

Now draw a "marquee" around the frames you want to insert before and "drag" them to the last frame in the movie.

i tried that, and it changed the entire scene. so instead of having two different scenes through the video, i had one. and the new scenes that was added, screwed up the rest, because the character was now walking through walls. which iscool, but not what i need. LOL

There are several freeware or cheap AVI editors available, that can splice two AVIs together, with or without various effects at the junction. Just search the web for "freeware AVI editors". PSP has a sister app called Animation Shop, which is fairly costly but does the job nicely.

Well, Adobe Premiere is nice relatively inexpensive program that could do everything you want and then some.

ABC Video roll is freeware; so is Zwei-Stein. Kinda fond of ABC video myself.
