Another simple test rendering of a more detailed scene I am working on using the 3DS model created in 3D Studio Max. I am really impressed so far with the way the mapping coordinates and models appear to come over to Vue with little or no problem.

Nicely done on the depth of field, but for some reason it feels like a scale model. Perhaps if you made the plants smaller, or added small tufts of grass near the column bases?

Your right Tiggerbear, that is the impression I got also while looking over it. I have got a bit left on it but have got it about where I want it now! Thanks for the comment :) BTW I really like your "Morning Mist" pic in your gallery Nice work!!

This is a good pic! Tiggerbear's right about the plants, but the lighting's fab.

Here's something that just occurred to me: try making the clouds in the sky a bit "busier", as opposed to soft and wispy. That might help the sense of scale a bit. Thanks on the "Morning Mist". Took me four hours to get that sky just right... =)
