I have read that there is a significant problem with Poser 4 hanging on renders when processing high-resolution texture materials, particularly when using the Victoria models from DAZ. I'm using the Poser 4 Pro Pack on a 1.0mhz Athlon processor, with 256 meg RAM, NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 video, under Windows 98se. I have yet to successfully render Vic2, yet I see the model used regularly in Renderosity with hi-rez textures on both the model and the prop elements, so there must be something I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions would be great. I've tried a memory management tool (MaxMem), rendering after a clean boot, and up-dating all video drivers. Am I missing anything? Thanks
