Howdy all you poser nuts :) i've just started making textures and found Cake Ones tutorial on making a PR texture. I have been searching ever since for a decent couple of Hi quality pics to use but have found none. I don't have a digital camera to use and my mate dropped his in a lake. Can anyone help out, if so, you'll have first dibs on! Thanx in advance ;)

you can always scan regular photos or pictures in magazines. If you don't have a scanner you can go to kinko's (USA) you won't find to many hi-res photos on the net the file size is prohibitive.

Try going to www.google.com and doing an image search for faces. If you find any good sources please post them here 'cause I'd like to try texturing myself.

Hi I can make a texture for you, hit the search button in the gallery and then fill my name in. I can make better textures now, if you choose me then you may not sell the texture or use it in any commercial use, only in your personal renders. Sincerely, VCD

This is what I do. I get folks I know, and take pictures of them with a regular camera. I get the photos developed, and then I scan them with my scanner. In fact, I too read Cake One's tutorial, and it is the reason why I have actually tried to make a photorealistic texture. Ben MessianicArt.com
