Seriously, though, it's a good start. You might not have enough vertices to get a proper head-spine effect; perhaps they could be a separate parented prop.
From what I've seen of the Yuuzhan Vong, you could also widen and lower the mouth (less space between it and the chin), make the nose flatter, and work on the ears a bit more (they should be lobeless and pointed).
This should look very interesting, textured.
Look here for a good selection of reference images.

Yes, the spines would be MUCH better done as a prop. It might also need Mike to work from.
Remember, kids! Napalm is Nature's Toothpaste!

Thanx. Whaa.. Hey, how come some of them do not have boney spines coming out of their heads? And that female one...almost looks human.

Probably racial variants. Or genetic alteration (I hear the Vong are big on genetic engineering).

Hello! Looks Good... If you do skin textures as well, you might have encountered the descriptions in the books of the facts that they have diffrent attributes (Tattoos ect.. ) for diffrent ranks/pristige standings in their society.. Though the figure so far is incredible.. Just started reading "Dark Journey" Each book I read I hate these bastards more.. :) Awesome work man, I'll have to continue working on a Jedi character I have been playing with to pit him against... :)
