Smart, beautiful and classy, Elleana Hair is for Daz3d's Victoria and Posette(P4 Nude Woman). This is a very versatile modular hair style, consisting of a base hair prop and a variety of bangs, fringes, a top wisp a morphing ponytail, pearls and a morphing "Golden Thorns" headress, The props all have external geometry and all pivot points have been set up to enable the user to bend, twist, turn and scale them without needing to reposition afterwards, which makes it very easy to animate, and dials have been renamed to make their identification easier. The Base hair comes with a small front wisp built into the mesh for quick or distance renders, which can be turned off with the supplied MAT poses when the addon bangs/fringes are used. You can add as many of the bangs/fringes to the hair style as you wish, and by scaling and slightly bending or rotating each one a very pleasing layered style for close up work is easily achived. Elleana Hair comes with 6 texture maps, and with the MAT poses there are a total of 8 natural textures and shades and 4 fantasy shades. This is what one of my beta testers had to say: "What can I say? WOW!!! The new hair is amazing!! So easy to work with, yet with so many possibilities!! I really love the pearls.. a very classy touch :) I tried a number of different combinations, and even tried mixing the props with other hair.. All worked very, very well :)) You have a real winner in this one! Thank you so much for allowing me to test it out for you :) Top marks Angela!! Noel.(Styxx)"

Looks gorgeous :) Is it possible to use it like.. um... bun/chignon only (gosh, I hate the english words for hair styles) so it would leave the neck bare?

Ladyfyre-graphics posted Mon, 18 February 2002 at 9:54 AM

Yes, it consists of a bun base prop, to which you can add all the other bangs/fringes and ponytail props to make your own style. I'll post an image in a minute when I jpg it.

Wow :)) That looks great. One more question... is it heavy to render? I'm not too fond of 11-mb .hr2's :/

Ladyfyre-graphics posted Mon, 18 February 2002 at 10:41 AM

Well that depends on how many of the fringes etc you add on to it :) The bun on it's own is a 1.08mb prop, it has external geometry which is 1.69mb, although I don't know if that makes any difference to the render time. The middle fringe has a 70.6kb obj file and the pp2 is 5.18kb. The ponytial is a 720kb pp2 and a 176kb obj. The textures are all 1000 x 1000 pixels but could be made smaller for quick renders if possible. Hope this helps :)

This is the flower garland I made for the hair, it's very low poly though and I wasn't very happy with it, but if anyone wants it I can put it in free stuff once I get it zipped. BTW that is Cin-'s Dok Mai modeling the style :)

Hi Alla :) Yep that is one of the faces for the Gwyneth package.. Still working on it.. :) I was doing a test render so I decided to try the pearls as a necklace.. Neat huh... Once in place I just saved them as a smart prop.
