Okay, first off, this is not meant to trash Poser in anyway. I love Poser. But, from time to time, I have these little unexpected things happen... These could be a glitch in Poser a glitch in my System or just something I did wrong. How can I know, unless I ask? So I came up with the idea for this thread. I'd mention a few of the tidbits, hoping that others will do the same, and maybe we can all get some useful feedback as to the cause/solution. Some of my "What gives" are: I go to give one of the dials a slight nudge (a number or two higher or lower) with the mouse, instead it takes a bounding leap on me and jumps 5 to 10 or even higher numbers. Why can't I just bump it up or down one increment at a time? Why does the Poser screen seem to hang or not refresh. I am sure this is a memory prob. I have over 1.gig ram, and over 30 gigs free for swap file plus I run rambooster. Things work fine for a while, and then I go to click on something, or maybe select a new figure from the pulldown menu but Poser does not keep up. I click on figure1, body and the dials for figure 2, head stay showing. I go to move the dials, but figure 2 body moves? It is like, the interface is bogging down or something. Anyone else have this prob? I want to move the forearm on fig 1 so I click on it, but since fig2 is a confroming jacket I get the forearm for it instead. Is there a way, other than using the drop down menu, to select the body part underneath another with the mouse? Like you can in paint programs and such? I have a few more...but these will do for starters.
