hi, maybe this is a very silly question, but i'm new in poser and don't know. what do i have to do for exporting a vrml-file? greetings rebecca

I don't remember if that's on the list of available formats (and I don't think it is), but to export anything out of Poser, you go to File -> Export..., and a window box pops up asking you what format. Now I suppose (assuming that VRML isn't one of the available formats) you could export Poser into some sort of intermediary program that can, for example, take an .obj file and convert that into VRML, but I have no idea how that would affect things like transparency.

the vrml export in poser is static sequences of wrl, not an animating one. if this is what you need.

better use low-poly like the ones for propack or avatar lab.

merci poserpro, do you know if there's another possibility to export a poser animation-file and later convert it into vrml. which poser-export-formats does support animation? maybe u know a solution?! merci rebecca

de rene, rebacca. I tried before, no solution, you have to edit the Coordinate Interpolator by thy own with the info exported from Poser of Propack. There used to be a Italien character animation package called Zapa which do cool VRML animation for character, but it is obsolete. The other way is to export keyframed obj or wrk and import in 3ds max or cinema 4d to use its default morphing featuer to create the naimation to export as wrl. Let me try. Later

Use max to do morph then export as wrl might be a possible way. Cinema 4d no works, no animation for vrml 97.
