After reading several tutorials and about 200 WEST LIGHT i managed my first conforming cloth somehow. Its moving and bending with the parent figure but its not placed at the right place( a little bit aside, not much , but its a tight thing i try to make, something like a long glove) My problem is : i can only place the originpoints by dragging with the mouse, trying to add them manually in the jointeditor, resets them to zero and the new figure is lying somewhere in the corner. What do i wrong??

This rings a small bell. Have you got my Mike Gloves? (freestuff) See what I did there. Look for IK chains, (not used) and how much of the arm is included.

I know this may not be the "proper" way but have you tried moving the source .obj? I had the same problem with a robe that I made. It was to far forward, so I imported the .obj and moved it forward .001, saved it, deleted the .rsr. then checked the effect. I had to repeat this 3 times but now it's i the right place. now if I can just fix the sleeves ::sigh::

Oh, and let me add these dials work differently than just changing the numbers in the Joint Editor or moving the centers in the display. Let me also say I don't understand them, I just have used them!
