i must say i hadn't been greatly impressed with the terrain modelling capabilities until i discovered altitude render using any number of them - they suudenly became more real. anyone else using it ??

create terrains - any sort. place them adjacent to each other. go to top view choose altitude render from the file menu.this the n creates another G2H map,save as jpeg, and reopen as a picture in terrain. you dont even have to line them up that well.

from the file menu? At the top ?.. hmm I can not see an "altitude render"... at the window side menu I can find an "Altitude mask ".. oi , please explain more s .. you caught my attention and now I HAVE to know how this works and what the results are ;-)

sorry my mistake its the small triangular button next to the cluster of render buttons use as many terrains as you like - 7 or more much more success than the tiling option which doesn't work any better in 4.1 despite claims by corel hope this clarifies
