Subject: good Mike characters?

Anybody know where I can find some very original looking characters for Mike? I'm too busy to keep making all mine myself, so I want to play with some others.

I don't know whether it's good or not, but is this original enough for you?

He's the result of a discussion started by Anzan about catman characters, using Michael's face dials, caleb68's Old Man texture from Free Stuff, and a blue tint to Michael's skin.

I still have the .fc2 face file tucked away somewhere, and can email him if you're interested. Those are safe to distribute, right?

I was actually wanting original human characters. But thanks anyway.

AliasAngel; Were you more interested in free items? Don't know if you've tried it yet, but I just did a search on "michael" in freestuff & found a number of michael character faces, morphs, & paks in just the first couple of pages. There are a lot of excellent michael character products in the MarketPlace for pretty reasonable prices as well. There're too many to really list here, but you might want to take a look at the "Mikey" teen Michael, and the "Boris" products for variety. I've bought several others as well, and most are excellent.

The "Dylan" character for Michael in the Marketplace is an excellent piece of work.

Depends on what you mean by "character." If you mean morphs, I guess Traveler would be the best source. But if you mean texture maps, my very favorite is Quim Abella's Paco. I've made him my default for Michael. He's gorgeous! Catharina Przezak Harders has some wonderful, realistic textures for Michael. Tomy is one of my favorites. There's an excellent character called Middle Age Mike (George Deep, maybe?) that makes a great slightly older character. Hope this helps. Melanie

The variety of Michael characters is nowhere near the variety of Victoria characters, and I honestly haven't found too many unique faces from the morphs available. I have found one morph pack in the Marketplace worthwhile, which is Tammy's Mike Morph Pack (five faces that are genuinely unique for $5.95).

As for textures, this site has the most free textures for Michael that I have seen, if you can't find what you want in free textures here, you might have to end up selecting something from the Marketplace to buy.

Check out Spike in freestuff by me. -WTB

Where you been, boy??? I was just thinking about you the other day and wondered if you ever did anything more on that mass-o-curls hair prop.

I've been back into recording lately, so I've eased off of poser and am mostly just lurking here. I never did do anything more to the curls idea, but someone is working on a hair section prop that looks really promising to help that sort of idea along. -WTB

Play with Boris, I like him. Niles

Well I should have my 15 Mike free skins back up pretty soon - including a Spike texture to go with WTB's morph. :) Lyrra
