**Bottom line here:** Mapping still not correct. *sigh* Back to the modelling board, I guess, - or can I chop up that blasted rock in UV-mapper and get it mapped more correctly? The rock itself is a cone, - so is a cone a cylinder with a cap or is it a sphere?? Or what?? **chrisjol** : *Beautiful composition Britt.* Thank you :) If you can apply a spherical map to the rocks it should help. Hmm... been working with the mapping most of the day. This is not a spherical map for the rocks, - it's a cylindrical. I guess that's why it's still distorted?? The rock is actually a distroted cone with a "foot". So wouldn't cylindrical map with cap be the most logical way?? **zoozI2000:** *about the first image, I loved the lighting! how did you do it (I want it! I want it!) :-)* Thank you! :) I just experiemented with lights. Added some, changed intenisty, - etc. There are some lightsets that came with poser, - they're a good start. And also there are lightsetting to download. I think, like you that lighting is very difficult, so I just keep trying.. and keep trying! What was it you wanted?? the water-lilly?? I think it's getting there soon now, - when I've gotten it the right size etc, - I'll upload it to the free section. :) **TygerCub** : Thank you for those textures! :)) I've kept working both with these and the ones I've used in the picture. Also very high resolution. I made the maps 2000 x 2000 phew... Still there are problems. I guess the mapping still isn't right. **AprilYSH** : *this will make a great picture, keep at it! got no suggestions, you're finding the answers quite well! :) it's nice to see you try to do as much in poser as possible so you can reuse the scene without having to do massive postwork in ps for each render.* So nice of you to say so! :) Personally I feel like I'm fumbelling in the dark. *lol* I see parts of a solution, - and then when I try it out, - it wasn't quite what I expected.
