THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Q: How to use materials on polygons

I have donwloaded a building from 3dcafe and try to use Bryce materials on the walls. If I do this (for instance bricks) the materials are extremely stretched. I have experimented by changing the mapping mode to all possible values, but none seem to work. As far as I can figure out, the problem seems to be that the wall is a set of polygons and not a (bryce) cube. Fiddling in the material editor with streching or sizing does not seem to work either. Could anyone give me a hint an how to do this? Thanks in advance, Wim

The x,y,z scale should do the trick for you. before you change the x,y,z scale look at it and note it's values if you see values like 10.2 and fractions, a small change will make a big difference. Spike
