Heh, I have some good news and some bad news for you ;) The good news is the site looks great. The bad news is it does not work at all in Netscape. Not at all.

"In Netscape" is rather vague. Netscape 4.x or Netscape 6?

pendarian posted Wed, 27 February 2002 at 11:36 AM

I can't get past the front page. There is a javascript error that I get for my Netscape.

Thanks for all your segnalling, they're very useful.
We're working on the problems with Netscape and anyway in the higher part of the main page there are some links, the ESSENTIAL one allows everybody to visit the site without java scripts nor images (you can choose to have or not to have images in the download section).

Sorry for the troubles, we're working to fix them.

Great site and thanks for sharing your very talented work. Many of us here are in your debt.

Just FYI: I tested in NS6.2 and the page does not function. In looking at your source, I note that you have forks using n = (document.layers) ? 1:0 ie = (document.all) ? 1:0 as the tests. NS6+ doesn't recognize either of these proprietary DOM methods. It only recognizes W3C standards, such as document.GetElementById. Thus, it returns no to both tests and doesn't try to run either fork. I don't know what your proficiency is with javascript and DHTML, but if you are unsure how to add compatibilty for W3C compliant browsers (that includes IE6 (mostly anyway) and Opera, not just NS6/Mozilla), I suggest you explore dhtmlshock.com and dynamicdrive.com for similar cross browser effects for clues on how to adapt your existing code. You may even find one that you like better...both sites have some excellent "cut and paste" scripts available.

I love the site, but I can't seem to use the scrollbars on any of the pages (Internet Explorer 6.0).

Hi, The site definitely doesn't load linked pages in Opera 6.0 ( identifying as MSIE 5.0 fixes it, though) looks ~nice~tho :-) ~S
