Did you all see Georges bryce FX in the store? I got to try them out and even though I don't post a lot in here ( not real good with bryce yet!) I did a little pic to show you the fire effect, I think its one of the best( lol not my pic, the fire!) I've seen. And there are some sky presets, rain snow etc!

Something doesn't seem right to me. Not only the fire looks like someone elses work, but at least three more of the "offered" materials, I believe, have been offered for free by other creators across the web.

Perhaps I'm wrong in my thinking.

Be well.

V, GeorgeD isn't the type of person to take someones work :) I'm sure what he has in the store is his own work. Sallie

I am not saying that GeorgeD is willingly misrepresenting his product.
However, the similarity between the product he offers and other previously posted free mats are quite striking.
(at least 2 of the freely released mats come with conditional read-me files.)

If the authors of the other products don't care, that's fine. I call attention to it because I feel it is important for the members of the community to be watchful.
Alot of talented folks spend quite a bit of their time, in order to provide free mats, tutorials, etc. I think the people who use these items have an obligation to be vigilant.
Once again, I am not accusing anyone of willful deception. It is important to be watchful.

Be well.

Actually Clay...the creator of the image you linked to is a friend of mine. I sent him a copy of the textures way before they were released. He's a mod of the Bryce Forum...ask him...we've been friends for years. I created all those 100% Best way to check...get the free ones and mine and compare the settings...completly different. Thanks for bringing it up though. GeorgeD

I can also attest to them being all originals as well. Great work G! Ken

Understood and good. My apologies to whomever may have taken offense at my questioning. :) Be well. V.
