Is this any good-this is the first time im posting a picture so let me know if it doesnt come up ok. Just looking for some criticism-good or bad-please be honest -thanks

Very good work but it does look 'overexposed', try lowering the ambient lighting, particularly on the trees and rocks. This image shows you have the vision to create some interesting Bryce images. -Tony

I am always surprised at the talent that seems to be emerging from a lot of the newbies lately. Makes me feel inadequate at times but also makes me impatient to see what they do next. Hope that you continue as this being your first picture you show a lot of promise.

Great start on it. my suggestions, with the bridge, use a different mapping mode, itll give the textures a more ealistic look. with the water fall-use a water texture with a little more noise(not too bad as is) and use a different material for the water at the bottom(just seems a little too white) maybe even go as far as to make a couple of low-to-flat terrains in the terrain editor to use for the water-give it a more rough rushing water effect. Good job on it so far.

I like the look. It looks a bit less Brycean. It reminds me of water color versus oil painting. Sure, water color isn't as sharp, but it produces nice results nonetheless. The rainbow does not seen quite right. (Sorry, I can't figure out quite what is wrong.) I'm in total agreement with beelzebub. We're getting a rush of super-talented newbies lately. I want to be a newbie! ;-}

I think I should just quit--I'm a relative newbie, but.... I would suggest that the rainbow is too 'opaque' and regular. It perhaps needs diffused a bit. Diane B

You guys I love all this feedback!! So many good suggestions! and I'm working on them all. Ill repost the image so you can see what your help has done. Fasttraxx-I played with the mapping on the bridge some more and it looks much better-thanks. The rainbow is tough though. I played with it for a long time. I used regular transparency because the blend transparency mode caused the rainbow to practically disappear. But Ill play around some more. But thank you all so much for your compliments and your suggestions! Really means alot!!

You know, that reminds me a lot of some Asian paintings and wall-hangings I've seen. Nice work
