Subject: Anyone know how to make "Changing" props/figures?

This "technology" is used for a couple of items sold at Daz: Changing PonyTail Changing Fantasy Outfit (or something) Basically it involves a morph target dial that when set to 1,2,3, etc changes the appearance of the body part/prop. It is not a normal MT which works on a scale of 10 to 1... Anyone know how to do this? cheers, d

"scale of 10 to 1" ??? sorry - I mean 0 to 1

Hrms... Perhaps it's an "Alternate Geometry" file... But I'd personally rather have 4 or 5 morphs that can be mixed and matched, than just one that has specific settings.

Remember, kids! Napalm is Nature's Toothpaste!

You can use the tutorial they used. I have it posted to the PoserTECH mailing list on Yahoo.

Yep check out Jeff's tutorial. Another example can be found in the hand type dial found on the Poser 2 Lo figures. Open up its CR2 file and you can see whats going on.

hor=hour. Ooops

The tutorial is in the "FILES" section on the list page; HTML and .PDF format(courtesy of Marque). Most of those sample files are very old though, you may not want to try them. The dial-a-prop won't even work on the Pro Pack.
