Steve, Looks excellent. Do you know how hard it is to set up Bones, then import the BVH into Max? I have Lifeforms. This is a great beginning. I am hopeful this marraige between Poser & Max will develope. I'm getting max soon. Pack

Remember me, Steve? I'm the one who needed you to figure out if it could be done. Well, I still don't know how to morph in between different OBJs. If you could help, i'd be most grateful.

Lets see if I can remember LOL ........Import the first OBJ set up all the textures ect cameras ect best to do all the lighting ect. now as by the time you get the rest in it'll slow stuff down big time..........now import the other files but not all of them just the keyframes it works just like poser it'll move between morphs smoothly.......next on the create panel change the drop down to compound objects and you'll see morph there click on that button (make sure you have the first OBJ selected) then move the time frame slider to the same place you hsad the next keyframe in poser next click on pick target, make sure you have a dot in "move" and click on the next obj keep doing this till you have all done and thats it :o) ........I've only done this a couple of times and only experimenting so you may find the odd hurdle......ket us know how you get on..........Steve

Thanks SO MUCH! MAN! I can't wait to get started. Pack, I would up the bones in TrueSpace, (If you have it), then export to MAX. TS's bones are no match for poser, but they are (in my opinion) a close second. The BVH functions should work, since you'll be using the same program to import and export.

Ya all know that I'm writing a "plug-in" for Poser that exports Poser figure animations to MAX and 3ds4 don't you? Email me to get on the contact list. It'll be ready in a few weeks. konan@spacemoose.com
